Job Type: RHD is seeking an experienced (not entry level) graphic designer.
For candidates able to work in our Wharton office, the position would be a salaried, part time position.
For those applicants who wish to work remote, the position is setup as an independent contractor position that is paid per project. A remote position would be expected to be able to dedicate 20 hours a week to this position, during regular business hours.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high impact, captivating visual content for a variety of marketing materials, with a focus on print ads, logos, social graphics, mock ups, and preparing print files.
Responsibilities:
- Websites: Built in WordPress platform. Designer would be responsible for building initial home page and page setups and then a different team moves in for content adding.
- Print Ads: Conceptualize and design high impact, eye-catching print advertisements aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. We build our ads in Photoshop.
- Logos: Develop unique and impactful logos. We build our logos in Illustrator.
- Catalogs: Develop cattle sale catalogs seasonally. Must be familiar with Data Merge. Build in InDesign.
- Social Graphics: Create graphics tailored for various social media platforms, maintaining brand consistency and visual appeal.
- Resize Ads: Modify and resize existing ads and graphics for different mediums and platforms as required.
- Mockups for Social: Produce mockups and visual representations for social media campaigns, offering clients a preview of the final deliverables.
- Collaboration: You will work with a dedicated project manager who serves as the client facing liason. Your project manager will be the link between our design team and sales team.
- BONUS: A “dream” candidate would also be experienced in WordPress builds, and if so, that would be compensated additionally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a graphic designer.
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions.
- High level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of print design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Capacity to collaborate with team members and clients.
