From time to time, The Ranch Downtown, Ranch House Designs, BRC Ranch and our affiliated businesses may offer customer promotions, loyalty programs, discounts, BOGO offers, punch cards, special pricing, giveaways, or other customer incentives.
The terms of these promotions will be communicated to employees in writing through an approved company communication method, such as GroupMe, Basecamp, text message, or other written instructions from management.
Employees are responsible for following the written terms exactly as provided.
When a promotion is advertised to customers, the terms stated in the advertisement and/or written instructions provided by management are the official terms of the promotion. Written promotional terms take precedence over verbal instructions or informal communication.
Employees may not independently change, reinterpret, expand, restrict, or make exceptions to the terms of a promotion. If an employee receives verbal instructions that appear to conflict with the written terms of a promotion, the employee should continue following the written terms and contact management for clarification.
Whenever possible, promotional discounts will be programmed directly into Shopify or the applicable point-of-sale system. Cashiers and other employees are not authorized to create or apply manual discounts unless specifically authorized by management.
If an employee is uncertain about how a promotion, discount, loyalty program, or customer incentive should be applied, do not guess or create your own interpretation. Ask management before completing the transaction.
Violations of this policy and any unauthorized discounts will be deducted from the employees paycheck.
