We charge sales tax for Texas residents only. Tax is charged for any project that we have to use an outside vendor, like business cards, signs, brochures, etc. Out of state clients do not pay sales tax. Even those who are “ag exempt” must pay for sales tax because marketing materials are excluded from the exemption.
Cattle, semen or embrys are not subject to sales tax.
Beef sales are not subject to sales tax.
The Ranch Downtown items such as non-food items, clothing, books, gifts, alcohol are subject to sales tax and automatically calculated in Shopify.
