Job Type: RHD is seeking an
experienced (not entry level) graphic designer.
Open to candidates who can work out of our Wharton, Texas office or remote candidates.
For candidates able to work in our Wharton office, the position would be a hourly paid, part time position.
For those applicants who wish to work remote, the position is setup as an independent contractor position that is paid per project. A remote position would be expected to be able to dedicate 10 to 20 hours a week to this position, during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high impact, captivating WordPress websites for agricultural clients and small businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Websites: Built in WordPress platform.
- Designer would be responsible for building initial home page and page setups and then a different team moves in for content adding.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a WordPress designer.
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions.
- High level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Capacity to collaborate with team members and clients.
We are looking for an experienced designer who can jump in and get to work. We are looking for someone with design skills equal or better to our current design standards which are available here.
